How it works

Introduction

If necessary we can introduce you to a trusted agent who can provide an accurate assessment as to the value of your current home and what a realistic sale price might be.

Assess income/expenditure

We will assess your income and expenditure and help you understand what size of mortgage amount would be realistic for you for the onward purchase. This should help provide you with a ‘price range’ in which to start the hunt for your new home

Get a solicitor

We have good relationships with a number of solicitors and if required can introduce you to a firm who can organise the legal work for the sale of your existing home and onward purchase.

Complete a DIP

 The aim is to get you ‘purchase ready’ and in as strong a position as possible to make an offer on a property, so likely we will organise a ‘decision in principle’ ahead of any offers being made.

Make recommendation of a mortgage

Once a purchase price has been agreed we can fine tune the mortgage numbers and make a recommendation for the most appropriate mortgage for you

Think about insurance

It’s important to consider what insurance you already have in place and whether it is suitable to continue using for the onward purchase. It is highly likely that some additional life cover, income protection or critical illness may be required.
